The experiences are most appropriate for visitors aged 5 and older. However, our advanced 3D hologram technology provides an exceptional experience for adults too. It’s a crowd-pleaser for individuals of all ages! Please note, the 3D animals and objects do “surprise” you throughout the experience, so the experience may not be for the faint hearted. There are specialized adult and kid-sized 3D glasses to wear (like regular sunglasses, but a little heavier). If your child, or someone in your group doesn’t like wearing glasses, they may not experience the full effect of the 3D hologram technology.
Frequently Asked Questions
I have a child under 3. Do I need to pay for a ticket for them?
No, children under 3 have free admission. You may want to be prepared to carry them through the experience, as it can be a little dark, loud, and stimulating. The experiences do involve wearing kid-sized 3D glasses (like regular sunglasses, but a little heavier). If your kiddo does not like wearing glasses, he or she may not experience the full effect of the 3D hologram technology.
Is this attraction wheelchair friendly?
Yes, we have a wheelchair accessible ramp to use to enter into the facility and all of our attractions are entirely wheelchair-friendly.
What happens if I am late to my scheduled time?
The Hologram Zoo and Hologram Room are timed, scheduled experiences. Please let your group know that they will miss their timed slot if they arrive late. If this happens, we will get them in the next available time slot, or they can start with the group a little late. In doing so, they may miss some of the content or have to slide in with another group. We buffer in some time for lateness, but not much. We will do our best to accommodate where we can.
How long is the experience?
One Hologram Zoo experience is 30 minutes of content. You may choose to do a second show for another 30 minutes. With the Hologram Zoo admission ticket, you also get a free group Photo Studio session plus a Projectogram, which is a 3D hologram card to take home and this can take about 10-15 minutes. We also have Hologram Rooms where you can choose a 30 minute or 15 minute experience. There is a gift shop area and snacks and beverages available for purchase. You can easily plan a 2-3 hour family or group adventure if you choose.
Are the experiences appropriate for guests with special needs?
Please note our exhibits are loud and involve the use of projected light, which may cause discomfort for guests who have sensitivity to noise or light. Please use discretion and good judgment when you book tickets for yourself or others. Guests who are sensitive to loud noise may bring in their own headphones if needed. Our staff is great at assisting guests, so please let us know when you check in if any additional assistance is required.
How does the Photo Studio session work?
At the end of your Zoo experience, a team member will assist in setting up the Photo Studio session for you. The Photo Studio involves a green screen and floor, so please DON’T WEAR GREEN. The TV inside the Photo Studio will guide you on how to pose for the various photos and videos. At the end of the session, a team member will assist you in downloading your photos and videos via a QR code.
